Central Banks Meetings Calendar
Decisions on matters of monetary policy are made by special departments of central banks (Federal Open Market Committee in the United States, the Governing Council in Europe, etc.) at the meetings, which take place once or twice a month. At these meeting the current economic situation is evaluated, different economic data is discussed at the interest rate level is put to the vote. Here is the calendar of these meetings in 2007:

The Governing Council of the European Central BankAt the first meeting of each month, the Council assesses the changes that have occurred in the economy and monetary sphere, and decides on the direction of monetary policy. At the second meeting the issues related to the other tasks and responsibilities of the ECB and the Eurosystem are mainly discussed.
Journals of meetings of the Governing Council are not published. Decisions on matters of monetary policy are announced at the special press conferences held immediately after the first meeting of each month.
